About this opportunity
This Broad Agency Announcement from the National Science Foundation's National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics seeks research proposals from universities and research institutions to conduct projects supporting NCSES' strategic objectives in four priority areas: methods for asking about sexual orientation and gender identity in Spanish; developing an inclusive single-race question; a STEM workplace mobile application; and predicting minimal survey respondents. Proposals will undergo a two-step evaluation involving initial concept papers and subsequent full proposals upon invitation, with awards ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 over one to two years beginning in September 2022. Proposals are due within 45 days on January 18, 2022.
There is no set-aside designated for this opportunity. Research should be conducted within the United States to support NCSES' data collection and analysis assisting federal statistical agencies. Awards will range from $50,000 to $500,000 over one to two years beginning September 2022. Interested parties should submit proposals directly to the specified NCSES BAA Program Manager and Contracting Officer rather than through the process outlined in the original announcement, with the deadline remaining unchanged. Place of performance will be within the United States.
