About this opportunity
The Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed price service contract to CMC Electronics for Navigation Database update services specific to the P-3 Aircraft Flight Management system. The contract is classified under NAICS code 334511 for Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. Interested parties may submit a written statement of capabilities via email, with documents limited to 10 pages total, demonstrating their ability to perform the required services. All statements of capabilities must be received by April 13, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST, with the government retaining sole discretion to determine whether to compete the contract based on received responses.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designation for this contract, and the anticipated performance period is 12 months. The contract will be awarded to CMC Electronics, located at 600 Dr. Frederik Philips Blvd. in Ville Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada, if no responsive alternative statements are received by the specified deadline. While no specific contract value is mentioned, the sole-source nature suggests a predetermined scope and pricing arrangement with the identified contractor. The procurement is classified under Product Service Code 6605 for Navigational Instruments, indicating a specialized technical requirement for aircraft navigation system updates. The contract represents a targeted procurement for specific technical services within the aerospace navigation equipment sector.
