About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service seeks to establish multiple blanket purchase agreements for various fish feeds to be used at its hatcheries nationwide. The solicitation is for a ten-year BPA from September 2022 through September 2032 to acquire fish feed on an as-needed basis. Feeds must meet specifications for protein, lipid, moisture, and ash content according to designated AOAC methods. The response deadline is August 5, 2022 and award will be made based on best value considering price and technical factors.
There is no set-aside designation for this requirement. The NAICS code is 311119 for Other Animal Food Manufacturing and the PSC code is Q1FX for Fish Food. The incumbent contractor was not named but the BPA is expected to make awards to multiple vendors. The total value of orders issued against the BPA over the ten-year period is unknown but will depend on hatchery needs. Deliveries must be made to Fish and Wildlife Service locations within 60 days of manufacture and have a minimum 90-day shelf life remaining.
