About this opportunity

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to procure surgical quality improvement programs and accreditations for the Department of Defense (DoD) military treatment facilities (MTFs) worldwide. The DHA requires memberships and support in national quality programs such as the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) for adult, pediatric, bariatric, and trauma specialties. Key requirements include providing risk-adjusted outcome measures, comparing military and civilian hospital outcomes, meeting cybersecurity standards, and offering training, reporting, accreditation, and online support tools. Interested parties are requested to submit capability statements by November 8, 2024, addressing the specific requirements outlined in the RFI.

This RFI is not a Request for Proposal and does not constitute a commitment to procure any services. There is no set-aside designation, and the DHA has not identified any potential incumbents or current contractors. The RFI does not provide any information about award values or budget ranges, nor does it specify the quantity of goods or timeline for services. All submissions will become government property, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their responses.

The Medical Affairs, Clinical Support Division, Clinical Quality Management Branch, Clinical Quality Measurement Program of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) has a requirement to provide surgical quality improvement programs for the Department of Defense (DoD) military treatment facilities (MTFs) located worldwide to sustain and improve the quality of inpatient surgical care.

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY.  This RFI is being issued solely for information and planning purposes. Either a notice of intent to sole source or solicitation synopsis will be posted via SAM.gov.

Interested parties should review the RFI attachment for this notice in full detail and provide a response no later than the requested deadline.  The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government.  The DHA has not made a commitment to procure any of the items/services discussed, and release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought.  All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.  Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.  Questions submitted regarding this RFI will not be accepted or acknowledged nor will there be a response.
