The National Park Service, under the Department of the Interior, is seeking a contractor to manage and plan events throughout the National Capital Area. The contractor will be responsible for organizing both recurring annual events—including the Cherry Blossom Festival, Independence Day Celebration, Inauguration, National Symphony Orchestra concerts, National Christmas Tree Lighting, Easter Egg Roll, Lotus and Lily Festival, and Fort DuPont Summer Concert Series—as well as nonrecurring one-time events that may occur throughout the year. This procurement falls under the Facilities Support Services NAICS category (561210) and is classified as a Management Support service. The Pre-Solicitation Notice was posted on November 25, 2025, with a synopsis period closing on December 25, 2025, at which time the agency intends to issue the formal solicitation. Interested contractors should monitor the Federal Procurement Data System for the full solicitation announcement following the close of this synopsis period.
This contract opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition to firms meeting the Small Business Administration's size standards for the applicable NAICS code. The Pre-Solicitation Notice does not specify potential incumbent contractors, award values, or detailed budget ranges. No information regarding contract duration, specific performance metrics, or evaluation criteria beyond the small business designation has been disclosed at this stage. Contractors interested in pursuing this opportunity should prepare to demonstrate relevant experience in event planning and management at the national level and should be prepared to submit proposals once the formal solicitation is released in late December 2025.
