About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is soliciting proposals for park attendant services at multiple campgrounds and recreational facilities across Tennessee and Kentucky. The contract requires two-person teams aged 21 or older with no minor children to provide comprehensive campground management services including fee collection, reservation management through Recreation.gov, visitor assistance, facility maintenance, and enforcement of park rules. Contractors must live on-site in self-contained RVs and work demanding schedules of 6-7 days per week with shifts ranging from 6-14 hours per day depending on the location. The government will evaluate proposals using a best value trade-off methodology with past performance serving as the primary factor and price as secondary, focusing on contractors' relevant experience managing similar services for 20 or more customers. The most recent amendment shows proposals for the Fishing Creek Campground location are due July 8, 2025, with questions directed to Contract Specialist Samantha Clay.

This opportunity is set aside 100% for Women-Owned Small Businesses under NAICS code 721211 with a size standard of $10,000,000. The solicitation covers six different locations including Anderson Road Campground and Day Use, Seven Points Campground at J. Percy Priest Lake, Defeated Creek Campground at Cordell Hull Lake, Floating Mill Campground at Center Hill Lake, Canal Campground at Lake Barkley, and most recently Fishing Creek Campground at Lake Cumberland in Somerset, Kentucky. Contract periods vary by location but generally run from March through October 2025 for the base year, with 2-3 option years available for most locations, while the Fishing Creek Campground contract specifically runs for 80 workdays from July 14 through October 14, 2025. Contractors must maintain a $5,000 security bond and possess basic computer skills, with compensation paid monthly via Electronic Funds Transfer within 45 business days of invoice submission. The government provides on-site RV spaces with electricity, water, and sewer hookups at each facility.
