About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Air Systems Command Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWCAD) has issued a Special Notice for an Industry Day event focused on Air, Ship, Shore, and Combat Integration Identification Systems. The event will be hosted at the Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) in St. Inigoes, Maryland on May 1, 2025. NAWCAD WOLF operates as an organic Lead Systems Integrator (oLSI), managing combined Government-Industry teams for engineering and technical support. The primary focus is on Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) systems for naval air platforms, involving system integration, design evaluation, component development, and technical management. The event is designed to provide potential bidders insights into upcoming engineering support services requirements.

Contractors interested in attending must complete registration by April 18, 2025, at 1200 EST, with each company limited to two U.S. citizen attendees. Base access is required, and companies must submit a registration form including company name, business size (under NAICS 541330), CAGE code, and attendee details. Optional 10-minute one-on-one meetings with government representatives can be requested during registration. The draft Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated to be published in FY25 Q4, covering engineering support for multiple IFF systems including AN/APX-111(V) Combined Interrogator Transponder, AN/APX-118(V) Transponder Set, and various radar and communications testing equipment. Attendance at the Industry Day is not mandatory and will not impact future solicitation submissions. All questions and answers from the briefing will be posted to SAM.gov after the event, providing additional information for potential bidders.
