About this opportunity

The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) is seeking potential contractors for the Egyptian Navy Autonomous INTelligence Systems (AINTS) Platform Integration project through a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought notice. The procurement will be a full and open competition Foreign Military Sales (FMS) solicitation focused on autonomous intelligence systems integration for the Egyptian Navy. Contractors must be prepared to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and will be required to complete a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to access detailed solicitation documents. The opportunity is open to both large and small businesses with capabilities in communication, detection, and coherent radiation systems (PSC Category 58-P). Interested vendors must submit their responses by 12:00 PM PST on April 1, 2025, through the SAM.gov platform.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this procurement, suggesting the competition will be unrestricted. While specific award values are not disclosed in the current notice, the complexity of the autonomous intelligence systems platform integration suggests a potentially significant contract value. The procurement timeline shows the opportunity was posted on February 27, 2025, with responses due by April 2, 2025, indicating approximately five weeks for potential contractors to prepare their submissions. The project appears to be a defense-related international technology transfer initiative, specifically supporting the Egyptian Navy's technological modernization efforts. The solicitation's focus on autonomous intelligence systems implies advanced technological requirements and potential long-term strategic implications for naval communication and detection capabilities.
