About this opportunity
The Naval Air Systems Command, V-22 Joint Program Office (PMA-275) intends to procure Integrated Aircraft Survivability Equipment (IASE) A-C Aft Sponson Interference modifications for MV-22 aircraft through a sole-source modification to an existing delivery order with Bell Boeing Joint Project Office. This procurement specifically addresses aircraft that received Aft Sponson Fuel Cell installations prior to the IASE Configuration A to Configuration C A-Kit installation, creating interference issues that require specialized modifications. The government justifies the sole-source approach under Title 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR Part 6.302-1, citing Bell Boeing as the only responsible source with the requisite knowledge, expertise, and comprehensive engineering data necessary to perform this work as the sole designer, developer, and producer of the V-22 Tiltrotor aircraft. While this is not a competitive solicitation, interested parties may submit capability statements within fifteen days of the June 30, 2025 publication date, with responses due by July 14, 2025. The government retains sole discretion in determining whether to proceed with competitive procurement based on any responses received.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and targets Bell Boeing Joint Project Office as the sole-source contractor under the existing Basic Ordering Agreement N0001922G0002. The modification will be issued to Delivery Order N0001924F0014, with an estimated performance period of one year and a planned award date of February 2026. The work falls under NAICS code 336413 for Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing and PSC code 1680 for Miscellaneous Aircraft Accessories and Components. No specific contract value or budget range has been disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. For potential subcontracting opportunities, interested parties are directed to contact the Bell Boeing Joint Project Office directly through the provided Boeing contact email address.
