The Department of the Army National Guard is conducting this market research to determine acquisition strategy for a possible future Request for Quote (RFQ) and to assess whether small business set-asides are feasible. Contractors must demonstrate their capability to provide three-phase, solid-state AC power sources with specific technical parameters including 6.0kVA input, 208VAC, 47-63Hz, and 0-115/200V output at 400Hz, compatible with Common Munitions Built In Reprogramming Equipment (CMBRE). Responses must include firm details such as Unique Entity Identifier, socioeconomic status, point of contact information, suggested NAICS code if different from 334515, and item equivalency documentation. The submission deadline is August 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM CST via email to SMSgt Katherine Fox, and late responses will not be accepted.
No set-aside designation has been specified for this procurement, as the government is using this market research to determine whether small business set-asides or full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. The notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or current service providers for this requirement. No award values or budget ranges are disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice. The procurement involves a quantity of exactly two frequency converter units, each requiring 15 amps per phase capacity and featuring touch screen LCD interfaces with digital signal processors. The timeline indicates this is preliminary market research that may lead to a formal solicitation process at a later date, though no specific contract performance period is mentioned. Information gathered through this sources sought process may significantly influence the government's acquisition strategy moving forward.
