About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is issuing a sole source solicitation for the repricing and continued supply of aircraft engine components supporting multiple turbine engine weapon systems, including the UH-60, AH-64, CH-47, and UH-64A variants. This FAR Part 12 procurement encompasses 53 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) targeting compressor and turbine assemblies, rotors, disks, seals, housings, and related engine components. The contract will require not only the supply of parts but also inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, and engineering maintenance services. The procurement is justified under FAR 6.302-1 as a sole source requirement with only one responsible source capable of meeting agency needs. The solicitation was posted on December 11, 2025, with a response deadline of December 26, 2025, and interested parties should direct all inquiries to James T. Grayson, Contract Specialist, at james.grayson@dla.mil, with requests including company name, CAGE Code, and contact information.

This procurement carries no small business set-aside designation and is proposed solely to General Electric Company (CAGE Code 99207), the identified original equipment manufacturer. The contract award will establish a five-year period of performance, with the attached NSN list representing items repriced for years six through eight of coverage, and any additional NSNs identified during contract execution will be synopsized separately. The requirement involves 56 specific aircraft engine parts with production lead times ranging from 240 to 1440 days and annual quantities typically between 5 and 300 units per item, though some components such as the Power Turbine Module and Lube Oil Assembly carry waived procurement status with potential flexibility in acquisition. While specific contract value is not disclosed in this notice, the multi-year sole source nature and broad functional requirements indicate a substantial procurement. Performance and subcontracting opportunities will be coordinated through General Electric Company, with letters of interest in subcontracting forwarded to the prime contractor by the contracting officer.
