About this opportunity

The U.S. Census Bureau published a Special Notice seeking multilingual research services to support the 2030 Decennial Census language program. The Bureau requires pretesting questionnaires, materials, and data collection instruments in multiple non-English languages.

The RFI solicits responses by March 25, 2024 to inform the scope of a future Multilingual Research Services contract. Interested parties should have capabilities for pretesting questionnaires, reviewing translations, modifying instrument specifications, and testing spoken translations for telephone and in-person interviews in numerous languages. Respondents must describe these capabilities and be eligible for federal contracts. The objective is to obtain multilingual research services for pretesting Census translations and instruments to ensure non-English speakers can participate effectively in the 2030 Census. This will help improve access and inclusiveness of the decennial count.
