About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Contracting Command — Aberdeen Proving Ground awarded a base single-award IDIQ contract to Advanced Resource Technologies, Inc. on June 16, 2026, for $5,536,435.00 in support of multilingual computing, analysis, scientific research, development, testing, and data generation for the Army Research Laboratory.

The contract (W911QX-26-D-A008) covers a five-year period with four one-year options. The contractor must provide personnel with high proficiency in low-density languages of military interest—including Afghan Dari, Pashto, Iraqi Kurdish, and African-accented French—while performing software and system development, computational linguistics research, hardware and software testing, and computer system programming associated with language technology development. Work is performed at two locations: 2800 Powder Mill Road, Adelphi, Maryland, and 1555 King Street, Suite 400, Alexandria, Virginia. The award was made under FAR Part 6 sole-source authority (10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(5)) to a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. ARTI is the incumbent contractor and was determined to be the only SDVOSB capable of providing the unique combination of required linguistic expertise and advanced computer science capabilities. RDT&E funds finance task orders. NAICS 541330 (Engineering Services).
