About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Program Manager Tactical Communications and Electromagnetic Warfare Systems (PM TCE) is seeking industry feedback on Multi-Channel Handheld (MCHH) capabilities through this Request for Information (RFI). The Marine Corps is interested in identifying Commercial or Non-Developmental Items (NDI) that can satisfy its operational requirements for tactical radio and ground radio systems. Specific operational requirements are detailed in an attachment titled "System Requirements_CUI," which is available upon request from Ashley Northam (ashley.northam.civ@usmc.mil) or Wanda Harner (wanda.harner@usmc.mil). This RFI is designed to support the requirements generation process and gather market feedback from industry regarding the current availability and viability of potential MCHH system replacements. Interested parties must submit their responses by February 11, 2026, providing the Marine Corps with sufficient time to evaluate industry capabilities and incorporate feedback into future procurement decisions.
This is a pre-solicitation notice with no set-aside designation applied, meaning all qualified vendors regardless of business size or classification are eligible to participate. The notice does not identify any current incumbent contractors or provide specific award values or budget ranges at this stage. As a Request for Information rather than a formal solicitation, this phase is intended to gather market intelligence and does not constitute a commitment to issue a contract or purchase any goods or services. The Marine Corps will use the industry responses received during this RFI period to inform subsequent procurement strategy and requirements development for MCHH systems. No numerical details regarding quantities, timelines, or contract values are specified in the pre-solicitation notice, as these will be determined following the conclusion of the RFI process and analysis of vendor feedback.
