About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is soliciting replacement parts for multi-band tactical radios through an Unrestricted solicitation using FAR Part 12 commercial products procedures. The solicitation covers 16 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and will be issued as Request for Proposal SPE7LX-25-R-0055 on October 24, 2025, with a 30-day response period closing on November 24, 2025. The contract will be structured as an Indefinite Quantity agreement with a one-year base period and two optional one-year extensions, not to exceed three years total. Evaluation will consider price as a significant factor alongside past performance, delivery capabilities, and other criteria outlined in Sections L and M of the solicitation. The procurement relates to antennas, waveguides, and related equipment within the battery manufacturing industrial classification.
No small business set-asides apply to this opportunity. The solicitation does not identify specific incumbent contractors or award values; instead, contract minimums and maximums will be established at the individual NSN level. The Defense Logistics Agency's Class Determination and Findings document indicates this consolidation strategy aims to achieve consistent contract terms, improved delivery schedules, stable pricing, and enhanced supply availability while requiring the successful contractor to maintain a subcontracting plan. Inspection and destination points will be specified in Section B of the solicitation along with technical and packaging requirements. Interested vendors should access the complete solicitation documentation through the DLA's electronic procurement system at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil beginning October 24, 2025.
