This pre-solicitation notice seeks to identify contractors with specialized knowledge and experience in concrete work and campground redevelopment who can remove existing sidewalk material, grade subgrade, and install cast-in-place concrete slabs and sidewalks to meet accessibility requirements. The work falls under NAICS Code 238990 (All Other Specialty Trade Contractors) with a $19 million business size standard, and the government is interested in responses from large businesses, 8(a) participants, small businesses, small-disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned small businesses, HubZone small businesses, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. This is explicitly identified as a Sources Sought Notice for market research and advanced planning purposes only; proposals are not being requested and no contract will be awarded based on this announcement. The deadline for responses is March 23, 2026, which provides approximately one month for interested parties to submit their information.
This opportunity carries no small business set-aside designation. No current incumbent contractor or contract award value has been disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. The government intends to award a single, stand-alone firm-fixed-price contract upon completion of the market research phase, though this notice does not constitute a commitment to issue a solicitation or proceed with any specific acquisition approach. The specific timeline for the concrete repair work itself has not been detailed in this market research announcement. Interested contractors should note that the government will not reimburse any costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought Notice, and any determination not to compete this project is solely at the government's discretion.
