About this opportunity
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) is seeking industry feedback through a Request for Information (RFI) for its Worldwide Lubrication Program. The program requires the provision of marine and industrial lubricants, as well as engineering support services, on a global basis for MSC ships, U.S. Navy ships, and other government-owned or chartered vessels. Key contract requirements include delivering specific types of lubricants that meet technical specifications, providing program management and field service support, and submitting various reports. The government is seeking feedback on industry's ability to meet the requirements by the anticipated start date of October 27, 2024.
This procurement is not set aside for any specific business size. The incumbent contractor is currently performing the MSC Worldwide Lubrication Program under a commodity contract. The government intends to issue a sole-source bridge contract to the incumbent. No contract value or budget details are provided in the RFI. Responses are limited to three pages and should include the respondent's company information, business size, and feedback on the ability to meet the stated requirements.
