It is the Governments intent to issue a multiple award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract resulting from the RFP. In addition, this procurement will be a total small business set-aside.

Added: Nov 17, 2009 3:37 pm Within MSC, the Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems (C4S) directorate (N6) is responsible for providing C4S support to all MSC Directorates and Program Managers. N6 must ensure that MSCs Information Technology (IT) systems are readily available and meet the requirements of MSCs user community worldwide. N6 must ensure that responsive and cost effective Information Assurance (IA) measures are employed throughout MSC to secure its boundaries and assure that IT systems are operated within an acceptable level of risk.



MSC requires support services for Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) necessary to ensure Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and DoD compliance of Military Sealift Commands (MSC) Information Technology (IT) systems. The objective of this procurement will be for MSC to achieve and maintain one hundred percent accreditation of its systems and sites, both ashore and afloat.



The solicitation resultant from this notice will be available on or about 23 November 2009. Once the solicitation has been posted, it will be available at www.msc.navy.mil. Click on Contracts (upper right hand corner), click on Request for Proposal (RFP), search for solicitation number N00033-10-R-6502 and follow the download instructions.
