Improved technology is available to provide the Soldier with added mission capability including enhanced ankle and foot support, durability for the extreme environments realized by Soldiers in current Areas of Operation, and weight reduction. Production Demonstration Models (PDMs) shall be submitted for each submission. The government anticipates making multiple awards, but reserves the right to make one or no awards. This will be a full and open competitive award. This is not a request for proposals (RFP). The Government intends to make multiple awards on a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract as a result of the Request for Proposals (RFP). The Government anticipates a two year ordering period. The anticipated total minimum requirement is 60 pairs with a maximum total requirement of 26,600 units. The successful offeror (s) will receive the first delivery order (DO) with the minimum quantity (if there is more than one awardee, the quantity for the first DO will be divided equally) mentioned above for the award.
