About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is soliciting commercial products and services for miscellaneous aircraft accessories and components under the "MOUNT ASSEMBLY" procurement, issued in accordance with FAR Part 12. The solicitation was posted on November 6, 2025, with a closing date of March 13, 2026, providing prospective offerors with approximately four months to prepare and submit their proposals. This procurement requires compliance with various statutory and executive order mandates, including Buy American provisions, Free Trade Agreements considerations, and Balance of Payments Program requirements. The solicitation applies strict contract terms and conditions as outlined in the March 2025 deviations (2025-O0003 and 2025-O0004), along with annual representations and certifications requirements. Offerors must demonstrate their ability to provide quality commercial products that meet higher-level contract quality requirements and be prepared to handle wide area workflow payment instructions, with invoicing and receiving report combinations managed through the Navy's established procedures.
This is a non-set-aside procurement, meaning all eligible contractors may compete regardless of business size or ownership category. The solicitation does not indicate any previous incumbent contractor or provide specific award values or budget ranges in the available documentation. Prospective offerors should be classified under NAICS 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) and PSC code 1680 (Miscellaneous Aircraft Accessories and Components) to ensure eligibility. The primary point of contact for questions is Mackenzie Cannataro at the Naval Supply Systems Command, reachable at 564-230-2148 or via email at MACKENZIE.CANNATARO.CIV@US.NAVY.MIL. While specific quantity and timeline details are not fully detailed in the available materials, interested vendors should note that this amendment updates the buyer code designation and extends the solicitation closing timeline to accommodate proposal preparation.
