Update #1 ·

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) San Diego, Contracting Department intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract on an other than full and open competition basis to Fisher Scientific Company LLC, 3970 Johns Creek Court, Suite 500, Suwanee, GA 30024-1297. This is a one time buy for Navy Region South West (NRSW) Fire and Emergency Service (F&ES) Morning Pride Fighter Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Turnouts manufactured by Honeywell Fire Responder Products and sold exclusively by Fisher Scientific LLC. The Government has identified Morning Pride Turnouts as the only Turnouts used throughout NRSW with the specific part numbers which were uniquely designed by Honeywell to meet both the requirements published in the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1971, 2007 edition on PPE construction, and the requirements of CNRSW F&ES.

The applicable NAICS code is 315299, business size: 500 employees. Delivery to the various southwest Naval sites is expected to be completed by 30 September 2012. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Contact Joel Judy, Contract Negotiator, NAVSUP FLC, at 619-556-6619, joel.judy@navy.mil with questions or concerns.
