About this opportunity

This Special Notice from the Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory intends to award a sole source contract to the City of Morgantown, West Virginia for annual fire protection services. The base period is one year with four optional one-year extensions.

Per the Morgantown city code, only the City of Morgantown Fire Department is authorized to provide fire protection services within city limits. Interested parties have until June 22, 2022 to provide evidence they can fulfill NETL's requirements, but the notice suggests a sole source award is likely. Responses must be submitted in writing to the named Contract Specialist by the deadline. Eligible contractors must demonstrate capability to perform the services, as the notice is not a formal solicitation but rather a means to determine if competition is warranted. No phone or late responses will be considered.
