About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure repair or modification services for one electrical control equipment monitor module, identified as NSN 7H-6110-991675193 (TDP VER 002). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under FAR 6.302-1 authority due to the unavailability of technical data and the uneconomical nature of acquiring data rights or reverse engineering the part. However, all responsible sources are invited to identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all proposals, quotations, or capability statements received within 45 days (or 30 days if award is under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement) of the publication date of January 29, 2026, with a final response deadline of February 17, 2026. The Government retains sole discretion to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and does not specify potential incumbents or current contractors. The contract calls for delivery of one unit FOB Origin, with no award value or budget range disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. No evaluation criteria beyond source capability and qualification are outlined at this stage. The notice serves primarily to solicit information from interested parties regarding their capability to fulfill this specialized repair requirement, with the understanding that responses will be used to inform the Government's decision on whether to proceed with a competitive or sole-source procurement approach.
