NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office intends to issue a firm, fixed-price purchase order on a sole source basis to Squadron Defense Group (SDG) (CAGE: 3C810) for one Modular Secure Panel System, manufactured by SDG. The system is required to meet the following characteristics: dimensions 8’L x 8’W x 7’6”H, lightweight, ICD-705 compliant intrusion detection system, sound transmission class 50, CTTA compliant countermeasures, access control devise (non-automated), federal specification FF-L-2890 compliant deadbolt, HVAC system, delivery and assembly of all items, and an alarm monitoring and notification service. The anticipated delivery date is 15 weeks after contract award and the delivery / installation location is Quarters AA (Radford House), Potomac Annex – Navy Hill, Washington, DC.

The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332311 with a size standard of 750 employees. The required supply is determined to be a commercial item and will be procured using FAR Part 13 procedures.

The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, SDG, under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote. However, while all information and quotes received by the required response date will be considered by the Government, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
