About this opportunity
NASA's Stennis Space Center issued a sole-source justification notice on June 1, 2026, for the purchase of two BAUER GBHE26.12-6K helium compressors, with a response deadline of June 16, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. CST. The Center intends to award a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole-source contract to Bauer Compressors under FAR 6.103-1 authority after prior market research via RFI 80SSC026K0001 identified only one responsible source meeting the requirement. The Statement of Work is withheld from public posting due to sensitivity. Interested organizations may submit capability statements and qualifications electronically to Jennifer Rolison (Jennifer.R.Rolison@nasa.gov) and Adrianne Peyton Ragan (Adrianne.Peyton.Ragan@nasa.gov) by the June 16 deadline; responses will be evaluated solely to determine whether competitive acquisition is warranted. The Government reserves the right to conduct full and open competition based on responses received. NASA Clause 1852.215-84 (Ombudsman) applies; the Center Ombudsman contact is available on the NASA Procurement Ombudsman listing.
