About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Detroit Arsenal (ACC Warren) is seeking Mobile Platform Ladders for the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD), with an initial solicitation posted on September 9, 2024. This procurement is being conducted electronically through the Solicitation Module of the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) suite, with proposals required to be submitted via https://piee.eb.mil/piee-landing/ by September 23, 2024. Electronic proposal submissions must be compatible with Adobe Acrobat Reader 11 and Microsoft Office Suite 2016, with narrative portions submitted in searchable PDF format. Proposals must be virus-free and cannot include embedded sound or video files. Vendors interested in the opportunity are advised to periodically check sam.gov for any amendments, as failure to obtain and respond to amendments could result in proposal rejection.
The solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 332311, with a size standard of 750 employees. While specific award value and quantity details are not provided, the procurement is focused on platform mobile ladders for the ANAD facility. Proposals will be evaluated electronically, with alternative submission allowed via email to Kishawn.n.banks.civ@army.mil only if the PIEE Solicitation Module is unavailable. Importantly, hardcopy proposals will not be accepted, and vendors must obtain written confirmation of proposal receipt from the contracting office. However, subsequent to the original solicitation, Amendment 0002 issued on December 17, 2024, completely cancelled the solicitation in its entirety, effectively terminating the procurement process for these mobile platform ladders.
