About this opportunity

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award firm-fixed price and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modifications to General Dynamics Ordinance & Tactical Systems, Inc. for multiple end-of-life Diminishing Manufacturing Sources cases for the MK 82 and MK 200 systems. The modifications will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as General Dynamics is the only responsible source possessing the technical expertise, knowledge, resources, and understanding of these systems necessary to satisfy the Navy's requirements. Interested parties may identify their capability by October 18, 2023, however, this notice is not a request for competitive proposals.

There is no set-aside designated for this pre-solicitation. General Dynamics Ordinance & Tactical Systems, Inc. is identified as the incumbent and only qualified source. As the modifications are for multiple end-of-life Diminishing Manufacturing Sources cases for the MK 82 and MK 200 systems, they likely relate to PSC codes 1410 and 1430, with an unspecified award value to satisfy future production requirements for an undefined quantity of these systems.
