About this opportunity

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to LCPC Lafayette Property LLC for miscellaneous building services at their leased headquarters located at 1155 21st Street, NW, Washington, DC. The services encompass various maintenance activities including key duplication, lock installation, carpet repairs, and overtime HVAC services. The procurement is justified under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and 41 U.S.C 3304(a)(1) as the property or services are available from only one responsible source, specifically because LCPC Lafayette Property LLC is the building landlord and does not permit other contractors to perform these services in their facility. While this is not a competitive solicitation, the government will consider written responses from responsible sources that demonstrate capability to fulfill the requirement. All responses must be submitted by 3:00 PM ET on August 26, 2025, and oral communications will not be accepted.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and identifies LCPC Lafayette Property LLC as both the intended sole source contractor and the building landlord. The contract structure includes a base period of performance from October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026, plus one option year extending through September 30, 2027. The notice does not specify award values or budget ranges for the miscellaneous building services contract. LCPC Lafayette Property LLC operates by contracting directly with service providers and billing tenants for the associated costs, maintaining exclusive control over contractor access to the building. The government anticipates making an award decision based on this sole source justification, though the specific award timeline beyond the response deadline was not fully detailed in the available text.
