About this opportunity
Naval Supply Systems Command is preparing to solicit a five-year Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for maintenance, parts, and repair services on precision timing equipment operated by the United States Naval Observatory, with a Request for Information (RFI) and capability-statement submission window closing September 2, 2026. No set-aside is anticipated.
Performance occurs at USNO's primary facility in Washington, DC, and alternate locations in Colorado Springs, Colorado; Flagstaff, Arizona; and Kokee Park Geophysical Observatory in Hawaii. Equipment covered includes Cesium Clocks (models 5071A and future variants), Hydrogen Masers (models MHM2010, MHM2020, and future variants), Auxiliary Output Generators (models AOG-110, AOG 85000-510, AOG2.X, and future variants), and ultra-low noise distribution amplifiers, power supplies, and specialized measurement systems. All products and services must comply with National Defense Authorization Act Section 224 standards for trusted microelectronics supply chain. The contract is priced on a firm-fixed-price basis with shipping to and from manufacturer facilities included in quoted prices.
Individual delivery orders are issued as needed over the five-year ordering period. Contractors must submit final reports to the USNO technical lead; acceptance and quality assurance allow a minimum 10 business day rejection window. Travel may be required and will be reimbursed per Joint Travel Regulations and FAR 31.205-46.
