About this opportunity

This pre-solicitation notice seeks proposals to replace the ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system at the Pendills Creek National Fish Hatchery located in Brimley, Michigan. The Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service Region 2 intends to procure the labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct and install an open channel, gravity flow, low pressure high intensity UV lamp system with an automatic mechanical wiping component. Proposals will be evaluated based on the ability to meet the technical requirements for this specific system. The request for proposal package will be available on February 15, 2022 via SAM.gov and proposals will be accepted from small businesses only.

This procurement is set aside exclusively for small businesses and has a North American Industry Classification code of 238990 for all other specialty trade contractors. PROJECT TITLE: Pendills Creek National Fish Hatchery - UV System Replacement

ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.

PROJECT CONSISTS OF: Provide all labor materials and equipment necessary to construct/install an open channel, gravity flow, low pressure high intensity ultraviolet lamp (UV) disinfection system complete with an in-situ automatic mechanical wiping system including a variable output electronic ballasts. The new system is will occupy the same space as the existing UV system at in an existing Influent treatment Building at the Pendills Creek National Fish Hatchery.


SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is set-aside exclusively for Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. Construction Standard: $16.50m
