About this opportunity
The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting quotations for MH-65 helicopter spare parts, specifically Supply Hose Assembly components (NSN 4720-14-400-7626, Part Number 202409-1), through RFQ solicitation number 70Z03826QB0000086. This brand name procurement is restricted to parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Safran Aerosystems (CAGE Code F6101), with all materials requiring clear, documented traceability to OEM-approved sources. Technical evaluation will be conducted sequentially, with only the lowest-priced offer receiving initial technical review for acceptability based on the offeror's ability to provide new manufactured commercial items matching exact part numbers; if that offer is technically unacceptable, evaluation proceeds to the next lowest offer. Award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror on a firm-fixed-price basis, with prices assessed for fair and reasonableness. Quotations are due April 10, 2026, with prices to remain firm for 60 calendar days from receipt, and all submitted responses must include completed unit pricing on the Requirements document.
This solicitation contains no set-aside designation and represents an anticipated competitive procurement without identified incumbent contractors. The primary requirement is for 12 units of the specified Supply Hose Assembly with delivery required by August 5, 2026, under FAR clause 52.217-6, which permits the government to exercise an option to increase the quantity by up to 12 additional units (maximum 24 total) at the same unit price within one calendar year of purchase order award. Delivery is on an F.O.B. Destination basis to the USCG Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, with shipment inspection and acceptance occurring at that location. The small business size standard applicable to this acquisition is 1,250 employees, and all contractors must maintain rigorous quality control procedures, obtain government approval for any product changes, and provide Certificates of Conformance with each shipment.
