About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard is issuing Request for Quotation 70Z03826QB0000016 to procure MH-65 helicopter spare parts, specifically seven types of repair bushes, repair rings, and repair shims totaling 74 parts across seven line items. Key contract requirements mandate that all parts have clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Airbus Helicopters (CAGE Code F0210), with strict compliance to Federal Aviation Administration guidelines to ensure aircrew safety. The government will evaluate offers based on best value while prioritizing quality and flight safety, awarding the contract to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer that includes a completed Certificate of Conformance. The solicitation has a due date of November 24, 2025, with no written solicitation to be issued—this synopsis serves as the only solicitation document. Alternate part numbers will not be accepted, and the government anticipates a firm-fixed price purchase order award on a sole source basis to Airbus Helicopters.

This solicitation includes no set-aside designations and is anticipated to be awarded solely to Airbus Helicopters, the recognized only known source capable of providing genuine OEM parts with proper traceability. The procurement involves 6 to 18 units per line item, with targeted delivery dates spanning June 2026 through June 2027 on an F.O.B. Destination basis. Parts must be shipped to the USCG Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, with comprehensive documentation including certificates of airworthiness and conformance required for acceptance. The estimated total contract value is currently marked as $0.00, pending quotation submissions. The small business size standard for this procurement is 1,250 employees, and the solicitation falls under NAICS code 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) with a Product Service Code of 5365 (Bushings, Rings, Shims, and Spacers).
