About this opportunity
The U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center issued a request for quotation (RFQ 70Z03825QB0000142) for MH-65 helicopter spare parts, specifically seeking metallic hose assemblies (NSN 4720-01-335-9631, Part Number 200029-2) from the Original Equipment Manufacturer Zodiac of North America, Inc. This unrestricted commercial procurement requires all parts to maintain clear traceability to the OEM through a complete, documented, and auditable paper trail from OEM-approved sources. Technical acceptability will be evaluated based on the offeror's ability to provide exact part numbers with proper OEM traceability and certificates of conformance. The award will go to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror under a firm-fixed price purchase order structure. However, Amendment 01 has cancelled this solicitation entirely because the received quotes were not within the acceptable price range, with plans to resolicit at a later date. The original due date for quotations was August 27, 2025.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation and is open to all responsible sources, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees under NAICS code 336413. The initial requirement calls for 15 units of the metallic hose assembly, with a government option to increase the quantity by up to 15 additional units (maximum of 30 total) at the same unit price within one calendar year after award. The original delivery requirement was September 29, 2025, with delivery continuing at the same rate for any option quantities exercised. Performance will be F.O.B. destination to the USCG Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. No specific contract values or budget ranges were disclosed in the solicitation materials, and no incumbent contractors were identified.
