About this opportunity

Contractors will be evaluated based on technical acceptability and lowest price, with a focus on detailed repair documentation, parts traceability, and potential airworthiness certifications. The solicitation requires vendors to submit quotes by email to Elaina.M.Price@uscg.mil by 12 March 2025 at 11:00 am EST, with all responsible sources invited to submit offers. Evaluation will emphasize the contractor's ability to meet specific repair requirements, including test and evaluation processes, corrosion management, and comprehensive documentation.
The solicitation is not set aside for any specific small business category and has a small business size standard of $40 million under NAICS code 488190. The USCG anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order for initially three gear housing components, with the option to increase the quantity by up to 15 additional units (maximum of 18 total) at the same unit price within one calendar year of award. Repairs will be performed to a Ready for Installation (RFI) condition, with specific delivery timelines of 15 calendar days for test and evaluation and 60 calendar days for repairs. The place of performance will be the USCG Aviation Logistics Center located in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Contractors will be required to provide detailed failure data reports, Certificates of Airworthiness, and Component Repair Records as part of the comprehensive repair and documentation process.
