About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), specifically Program Management Activity (PMA)-299, has issued a Special Notice announcing an upcoming Industry Day for the MH-60 Service Life Modernization (SLM) program. This Special Notice, posted on December 5, 2025, is informational in nature and does not constitute a commitment by the Government to procure any items or services. The Industry Day is scheduled for late January 2026 and will be conducted virtually through the Naval Aviation Systems Consortium (NASC). This announcement is directed toward industry stakeholders interested in learning more about the MH-60 modernization initiative and potential contracting opportunities. The Special Notice emphasizes that this is an informational forum rather than a formal solicitation at this time.

The primary objective of this Industry Day is to provide industry partners with an overview of the MH-60 Service Life Modernization program and to facilitate engagement with potential contractors. To participate in the Industry Day, interested parties must be members of the Naval Aviation Systems Consortium (NASC), with membership information and an overview of the consortium available at https://nascsolutions.tech. The MH-60R and MH-60S helicopters are multi-mission platforms currently supporting critical naval operations including Anti-Submarine Warfare, Anti-Surface Warfare, Special Operations, Personnel Recovery, Airborne Mine Countermeasures, Vertical Replenishment, and Command and Control missions. The MH-60R is widely deployed across the United States Navy and multiple foreign military customers, while the MH-60S operates exclusively within the United States Navy. This modernization program represents a significant opportunity for contractors engaged in aircraft systems and rotary-wing platform enhancement.
