NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE:
The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) hereby gives notice of their intent to award a contract to The Henry M. Jackson Foundation., 6720-A Rockledge Dr., Suite 100; Bethesda, MD 20817 (Cage Code: 0HC11) for Meningococcal Immunization Against Gonococcal Infection (MAGI) Trial/ RV564. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR citation is 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) and the FAR citation title is only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for these highly specialized research services.
This requirement is in support of The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) Bethesda, MD 20814. In accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii), USAMRAA intends to award a sole source contract to The Henry M. Jackson Foundation under NAICS code 541715.
All capability statements received by 1000 EST on 05 September 2022, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability statements shall be submitted by email ONLY as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Steven.a.davanzo.civ@health.mil.
