About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District, seeks supply and delivery of one Megger Primary Injection Test Kit under a firm fixed-price contract, with quotes due September 14, 2026. The procurement is set aside for women-owned small businesses at 100 percent, and carries a brand-name limitation to Megger equipment (CAGE Code 5M2R7) justified by compatibility requirements with existing Motor Control Center breakers, the exceptionally compact footprint necessary for confined electrical rooms with strict safety clearance margins, and the substantial non-recoverable costs associated with alternative equipment requiring specialized adapters and structural modifications.
Place of performance is Nickajack Lock, Jasper, Tennessee 37347. The kit comprises nine line items: one SPI500 standard version with North American power cord, two SPI500 boosters, one SPI lead set (dual 4/0 AWG cables, 10 feet, red and black connectors), one SMART TOUCH VIEW INTERFACE STVI-10 (10-inch display), one transport case, one 4/0 cable set with 400-amp Mueller clip (4 meters), one NEMA L6-20P to C13 power cord (15A, 250V), one 3-unit parallel bars assembly, and one 14V SPI500 cable lead (10 feet). Delivery must occur 120 calendar days after award, FOB Destination, with contractor coordination at least three working days prior to delivery. The NAICS code is 334515, Switchgear and Switchboard Apparatus Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 employees.
Award criteria are full compliance with specifications, acceptable past performance, and lowest evaluated price. The contractor must furnish equipment manufacturer warranties covering defective materials, design, and workmanship for a minimum of one year and submit certificates of compliance signed by an authorized manufacturing official. All inquiries go to Bradley Eiras (Bradley.M.Eiras@usace.army.mil) and Kenyanna Jennings (Kenyanna.L.Jennings@usace.army.mil).
