About this opportunity
The Connecticut Army National Guard issued a sole-source justification notice for the Medevac Field Care Course of Instruction, determining that Tier 1 Group LLC is the only vendor reasonably available to provide the training due to unique and proprietary facilities meeting specialized accreditation and compliance requirements. The facility holds USDA Class R Research designation, AAALAC and IACUC accreditation, CAPCE credit, and approvals from DODVSA, AMEDDC&S, USSOCOM, BUMED, and meets DOD/DOJ secure equipment, weapons, and Class V storage standards as well as NISP and DCSA requirements. The contracting officer will solicit from this single source under simplified acquisition procedures under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This is not a competitive procurement. Interested parties may submit a capabilities statement providing clear and convincing evidence that competition would benefit the Government in future Medevac training procurements.
