The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking sources to provide personnel, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision and other items and services for the following:  McNary Dam Turbines Lifting Beam Load Testing.

Requirements:

  •  Pick-up 8 lifting beam/devices at a project site located near Umatilla, Oregon
    • No beams or devices longer than 48ft (~16ft max)
  • Complete visual inspections and provide reporting on the inspection
  • Complete Non-destructive weld examinations and reporting for the devices provided
  • Repairs as required including:
    • Weld repairs, Paint preparation (bead blasting, for example) and painting
  • Load testing and certification of each device per ASME B30.20 (2018) and ASME BTH-1 (2020)
    • Rough Max/Min (280T/3T)
  • Provide placard for Labeling the devices
  • Delivery and uncrating, unpacking of devices at site
  • Submittals sufficient to reproduce testing of the devices at a future date, if required
