About this opportunity

The United States Marine Corps intends to solicit a MAVEN FSR (Field Service Representative) contract supporting Marine Forces Reserve, with a response deadline of October 30, 2026, under a Total Small Business set-aside.

The contract requires one dedicated full-time cleared engineer embedded at Marine Forces Reserve headquarters in New Orleans, Louisiana. The scope encompasses six integrated pillars: designing and maintaining automated data pipelines across unclassified and classified environments using Databricks and Apache Spark; architecting and curating enterprise-governed data ontologies capturing readiness objects and relationships; developing artificial intelligence agents and agentic workflows utilizing Palantir AIP Logic with human-in-the-loop controls; building operational dashboards and applications within Maven Smart System with two-way writeback capabilities to authoritative databases; executing rapid sprint-based prototyping to transition concepts to production applications within days; and conducting hands-on training and technical documentation to build organic workforce capability among reserve Marines and civilian personnel.

Minimum qualifications include active DoD Secret security clearance, CompTIA Security+ certification (IAT Level II or higher), demonstrated fluency in Palantir platforms (Foundry, Maven Smart System, AIP), advanced proficiency in TypeScript and Python, proven experience with Databricks and Apache Spark pipeline architecture, expertise in enterprise data ontology governance, and direct experience developing AI workflows and LLM-based agents.

The period of performance consists of a twelve-month base period beginning October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with four optional one-year renewal periods extending through September 30, 2031. Evaluation criteria include timeliness of deliverables, technical accuracy with zero critical security vulnerabilities permitted, rapid solutioning velocity (prototypes within 5–10 business days), organic knowledge transfer effectiveness, and staffing continuity with no more than three-week gaps in support.
