About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Construction and Equipment is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice for mask light assembly components, specifically seeking manufacturers capable of supplying three items: Mask Light Assembly (6220-01-620-1410), External Assembly Mask Light (6220-01-621-4540), and Internal Assembly Mask Light (6220-01-620-1407). This market research aims to identify potential sources for a future long-term Indefinite Quantity Contract solicitation. Interested contractors must submit a complete data package by September 9, 2025, to Shavon Peterson at Shavon.Peterson@dla.mil, and are encouraged to review item descriptions carefully to identify manufacturing challenges and formulate questions. The government emphasizes this is not a request for quotes, proposals, or bids, and no payment will be provided for submitted information. Any resulting solicitation would be posted separately on beta.sam.gov, requiring vendors to monitor the site independently.

This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations, making it open to all qualified contractors. The notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or provide specific award values or budget ranges for the potential future contract. No quantities are specified for the mask light assembly components, consistent with the Indefinite Quantity Contract structure mentioned in the notice. The timeline focuses solely on the September 9, 2025 deadline for market research responses, with no service delivery timelines provided since this remains in the preliminary market research phase. The items fall under NAICS code 335999 for All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing and PSC code 6220 for Electric Vehicular Lights and Fixtures.
