The camps will be located within 100 miles of Baltimore, with specific dates of June 23-27, 2025 (for ages 7-12) and August 4-8, 2025 (for ages 13-18). Questions regarding the acquisition must be submitted no later than five business days prior to the response deadline, with all questions and answers to be posted on a non-attribution basis.
The solicitation does not have a specific set-aside designation, though one standard form indicates potential WOSB (Women-Owned Small Business) consideration. The procurement falls under NAICS category 721214 for Recreational and Vacation Camps, with a Performance Work Statement specifying detailed requirements for lodging, meals, and activities. The camps will provide comprehensive services including gender-specific sleeping areas, three daily meals with dietary accommodations, and structured activities such as rock climbing, mindfulness practices, and relationship-building exercises. Contractors must ensure at least 25% of staff are CPR-certified and maintain a safe, family-friendly environment that supports military youth development through evidence-based training programs.

The Maryland Army National Guard (MDARNG) is seeking a commercial contractor that will provide two 5-day, 4-night, and over-night co-ed adventure summer camp experiences for Maryland National Guard (MDARNG) children and youth (ages 7-18) with qualifying housing and dining facilities (see PWS Section 5.1.4 and 5.3). The camp shall gather military children and youth from around Maryland to assist them in making connections and developing a peer group with other military youth through shared adventure experiences in a traditional camp environment, which will require sleeping rooms, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and social-recreational activities. The intent of the camp sessions is to build skills necessary to prepare campers to assume roles as successful adults. In addition, camp provides growth experiences for youth that can benefit them through adulthood in areas such as self-confidence, independence, making friends, and exploring and learning new activities.
