About this opportunity

The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) for its Mounted Assured Resilient Navigation (MARNAV) Block 2 program. The purpose of this RFI is twofold: to determine the availability and adequacy of potential commercial sources before determining the acquisition strategy and issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP), and to provide an opportunity for industry to provide feedback on the draft MARNAV Block 2 Performance Specification (P-SPEC) to assist the government in refining the requirement. The MARNAV program aims to incorporate an M-Code GPS capability along with additional Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) enablers/alternatives to provide a robust Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) compliant capability to the USMC. The current acquisition strategy is to conduct a full and open competition resulting in the award of a single Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

This opportunity is not set-aside for any specific business category. The government has not identified any potential incumbents or current contractors. The RFI does not specify an award value or budget range, but the intent is to award a single IDIQ contract to fulfill the MARNAV Block 2 requirements. Interested U.S.-owned entities are instructed to request the draft P-SPEC by October 31, 2024 and provide feedback by November 1, 2024.
