About this opportunity
The United States Army, through the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, is conducting a market survey for components associated with the AN/ZSH-3(V)1 Black Hornet 4 (BH4) unmanned aircraft system, with responses due by October 16, 2026. No set-aside applies.
The Army seeks sources capable of supplying four component part numbers over a three-year period: S007250 Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle (NSN 1550-25-163-7663, estimated 2,300 units); S007251 Unmanned Aircraft Main Module (NSN 1550-25-163-7895, 1,100 units); S007260 Grip Assembly Controller AC (NSN 1680-25-163-7661, 750 units); and S007252 Case, Electronic Communication Hangar (NSN 5895-25-163-7662, 550 units). The BH4 is a soldier-borne sensor designed for dismounted operators to enhance situational awareness with minimal weight and volume increase.
Interested suppliers must submit responses to michelet.audige.civ@army.mil demonstrating capability to produce or source items per the government data package. Documentation must include test results, purchase order copies showing prior vendor relationships, or statements from current sources confirming the supplier can deliver functionally and physically equivalent components. Respondents must complete the accompanying Contractor Questionnaire (DLA-Aberdeen-26-079), addressing prior manufacturing or supply experience with relevant part numbers and contract history, production capacity for stated quantities, expertise in failure analysis and reporting, knowledge of obsolescence mitigation through alternative materials, and any Government Furnished Equipment requirements. This market survey does not constitute a solicitation and creates no binding obligation.
