Update #3 · Latest ·
This notice provides an update on the Distance Measuring Equipment (DME), Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range (VOR), and Tactical Air Navigation (TACAN) (DVT) Sustainment Program and the Tactical Air Navigation (TACAN) Antenna Procurement.
The DVT Sustainment Program successfully accomplished an Investment Analysis Readiness Decision (IARD) in September 2020. The FAA is continuing to work on planning activities for the DVT Sustainment Program. A proposed DVT Sustainment contract award is planned for FY 2023.
The FAA is considering a competitive small business set-aside strategy for the TACAN Antenna Procurement resulting in a single award Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with multiple task orders of differing contract types issued to perform the necessary program/project work. The FAA anticipates releasing the Screening Information Request (SIR) in the 2nd quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2021. The proposed TACAN Antenna award is planned by 4th quarter FY 2021.
The FAA Program Office will post documents through the Contracting Office for Industry comment. Please continue to monitor Contracting Opportunities BETA.SAM website https://BETA.SAM.Gov for any updates. All comments, questions, and concerns must be submitted to 9-awa-aaq-dvtacquisition@faa.gov.
