Update #1 ·
Added: Jan 03, 2017 4:18 pm
The United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency, Commodity Operations, International Procurement Division has identified the need for marine cargo survey services in order to witness and examine the unloading of USAID food aid shipments in eight different countries. The services will be required in Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, Ghana, Senegal, Central America, South Africa, Sudan, and Tanzania.
The requirement is expected to be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in January 2017, under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The RFQ will result in a total of eight requirements contracts, one contract for each country. Performance is estimated to begin in April 2017 with option periods to extend services through March of 2022.
Interested parties shall be responsible for ensuring they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. More information about the USDA and USAID Marine Cargo Survey program is available at the website, http://www.fsa.usda.gov/programs-and-services/commodity-operations/procurement-and-sales/export/cargo-surveys/index.
