About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking a contractor to repair MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY, H components, with a focus on meeting specific technical and quality requirements for naval equipment. The solicitation, posted on March 14, 2024, with a response deadline of March 14, 2025, requires potential vendors to provide a firm-fixed-price repair quote and demonstrate technical capability for repairing valve and pipe fitting assemblies. Contractors must comply with extensive technical specifications, including MIL-STD-130 marking standards and detailed repair procedures outlined in the document. The contract mandates specific performance metrics, including Return to Allowance Time (RTAT) requirements, with potential price reductions of 1% per asset per month for missed timelines. Vendors must verify compliance with specific FAR and DFARS clauses and provide comprehensive documentation about their manufacturing and repair processes.

The solicitation does not indicate a specific set-aside designation and is open to qualified vendors in the Other Metal Valve and Pipe Fitting Manufacturing sector. The contract will be issued under Blanket Purchase Agreement (BOA) N0010422GYT01, with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) source inspection required and freight terms set as FOB Origin. While specific award value is not explicitly stated, the contract involves military packaging, bar coding, and commercial asset visibility requirements. Contractors must use the NAVSUP Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) system and be prepared to provide detailed traceability information, including Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) details if they are not the primary manufacturer. The contract emphasizes rigorous quality assurance, with contractors required to maintain inspection records for 365 calendar days after final delivery and comply with extensive government documentation and reporting standards.
