About this opportunity
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking to procure 7 aircraft main actuators (NSN 7R-1710-016657873-P8) for P-8 aircraft through a sole source procurement with The Boeing Company. The procurement is authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and will be conducted using FAR Part 15 procedures, with electronic solicitation processes. Potential vendors have 15 days to identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item, and all proposals received within 45 days of publication will be considered. The anticipated solicitation will be posted to NECO on 29 January 2025, with a response deadline of 28 February 2025, and an expected award date of 17 March 2025. Interested organizations must submit their capabilities and qualifications directly to the contracting officer, Jessica Grzywna, via email.
This procurement is not a small business set-aside and will have a contract duration of one year. The government will apply Buy American Clauses and UID requirements, and is seeking the parts specifically from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Boeing, as they are the only known source and do not possess the technical data rights to procure from alternative suppliers. The contract's NAICS code is 336413, and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 1710 for Aircraft Landing Equipment. Any firm not already approved to manufacture the material must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR), though the procurement will not be delayed pending SAR approval. The government anticipates awarding the contract to Boeing, and no telephone requests will be honored, with no hard copies of solicitation materials to be mailed.
