About this opportunity

The California National Guard seeks sources for the macro restoration of various military artifacts located across multiple facilities in the state. Work shall include the complete exterior cosmetic refurbishment and restoration of the macro artifacts, including preparation of surfaces and reapplication of period-correct paints and markings. Contractors must commit to preserving original materials to maintain historical integrity. The agency will evaluate bidders' ability to fulfill the restoration requirements while properly treating the artifacts. Questions are due by February 28, 2024.

There is no set-aside designated for this requirement. The artifacts included for restoration are various vehicles and aircraft such as tanks, helicopters, missiles, and half-tracks. Restoration is required at facilities in Sacramento, Stockton, Camp San Luis Obispo, and Camp Roberts. As no budget or quantities were provided, the potential award values and timelines cannot be determined from the pre-solicitation notice.
