This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Set-Aside Status: This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Businesses
System for Award Management: The Contractor must be registered in the SAM database at www.sam.gov. "Registered in the SAM database" means that (1) the contractor has entered all mandatory information, including the DUNS number or the DUNS+4 number, into the SAM database; and (2) The Government has validated all mandatory data fields and has marked the record "Active."
Contract Type: The Government is contemplating issuance of a single award contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 12 and Part 13. The purpose of this advertisement is needed to provide services necessary to aid in and control of the pigeon population surrounding Moncrief Army Hospital at Fort Jackson. The work will consist of trapping and utilizing trained birds of prey to eliminate and control the pigeon population surrounding MACH Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC. The anticipated period performance is one (1) 12 month base period from date of award and four (4) 12 month option periods.
There shall be no site visit unless requested within the first three days of release of this posted advertisement.
Please submit site visit request for a site visit by sending your Company name and name of each attendee who is expected to attend to Carmen.n.falls.civ@mail.mil NTL 6 July 2016 @ 0900. An amendment shall be issued if a site visit will be held. And all interested parties shall be notified of the date and time of the site visit.
All questions will end on 6 July 2016 @ 1100.
